Five men - two businessmen, a traveler, a cameraman and their guide - go on a boat trip to the fastest river in North America, the Stikine. They want to complete a 250 km long route through untouched northern nature in 50 days, but winter catches up with the travelers unexpectedly. Despite the warnings of the locals, the team continues their journey, but nothing goes as planned - frost, snow storms, obstacles in the river and finally the disappearance of one team member await them.
